Fashion Remade Salon Show

To coincide with the National Gallery of Victoria International’s “Remaking Fashion” exhibition, the Sofitel Melbourne on Collins is hosting their own salon show entitled ‘Fashion Remade‘. Sofi’s Lounge with see local designer labels such as Jenny Bannister, Shirley Keon Couture, Croce Colosimo, Material By Product and Medwin Couture showcase their works from toile (experimental pattern stage) to finished piece. It is a rare behind the scenes glimpse at the design process of some of Melbourne’s most respected names in couture fashion.

The event will be held on Wednesday the 11th of February at 25 Collins Street in Melbourne from 6.30pm to 8.30pm. Tickets are available by calling (03) 9653 7744 – bookings are a must. The price of $55 (or $50 for NGV members) includes canapes, sparkling and the show.

 

Remaking Fashion is on display at the NGV International until the 19th April 2009.
